We pride ourselves on giving a bespoke, luxury, quality service. If you are not happy with our products, please contact us as soon as possible. All item are made to order especially for you but if there is something not quite right we will always do our best to resolve it.


We are happy to accept returns, replace fabric or refund you if the items are faulty or of poor quality but please notify us within 7 days of receipt of your goods.  We are unable to accept returns if the wrong measurements were provided or if you are unhappy with the fabric without having seen a sample.


We regret that once the items have been used by you, especially in a smoking or pet home, we cannot accept responsibility for errors or quality.




In these terms and conditions:


“Conditions” means these terms and conditions of sale; “Contract” means the contract for the sale by us and purchase by you of our Goods and/or Services; “Goods” means fabrics and any other Goods supplied by us following your Order; “Order” means an order made by you for the supply of Goods by us; “Price” means the price of the Goods, plus any delivery charges; “our, us, we” means Design and Conquer whose place of business is 95 Skipton Road, Colne Lancashire, B8 0NU; “you and your” means the person who buys or agrees to buy Goods from us;




Basis of Sale


By clicking on "Confirm Order" at the checkout section of the website, you are undertaking to buy the Goods at the Prices indicated. An Order taken over the telephone is final once payment has been taken and the call has ended; as is when placing an order via direct messaging, and payment has been taken.






After placing an Order with us online we will email you a confirmation of the Order details. You must notify us of any errors in the Order within 24 hours of receiving confirmation of the Order from us. If you fail to do so, we shall be entitled to assume that you are satisfied with the Order as detailed in the confirmation. If you do not receive your order confirmation within 24 hours, please contact us immediately by phone. If you place an order with us through direct messaging, the messages will be confirmation of your order. If you require an invoice, please let us know. If you fail to check the Order confirmation properly and need to make changes to the order subsequently, we reserve the right to charge for the changes as necessary.








Our fabrics are represented to the best of our ability but we cannot guarantee that there will be no variation between the website image and the actual fabric.  Many factors including colour monitors and graphics cards can affect how the colour and texture appear on screen.  We highly recommend that you order a free fabric sample first unless differences in appearance are not important to you.




Our fabric samples may be cut from an earlier manufacturing batch to the fabric available to order.  There may be some small variations in colour.  If this is not acceptable, please contact us and we can arrange for a sample to be cut from the same batch that you would be purchasing the fabric from.




We do not accept returns if you are unhappy with the fabric without having seen a sample.






Goods are manufactured in accordance with the measurements provided by you. Please follow the instructions on how to measure which are available on our website. How do I measure for curtains? How do I measure for roman blinds? If you are unsure, you can call us for advice and clarification. We cannot accept returns for goods incorrectly measured by you.








Your Order will be delivered within 1 week for in stock cushions, 1-2 weeks for made to order cushions/soft furnishings and up to 4 weeks for curtains and roman blinds, and some other soft furnishings, unless a specific date has been given by prior agreement. If your chosen fabric or item is out of stock, delays may occur and we will notify you of these as soon as possible.




Once your Order is ready we will ship this to your specified delivery address automatically. Standard deliveries are made via a few selected courier services such as Parcelforce, DHL, Hermes etc and are usually 48hours from sending. if you require you order by a certain date please notify us directly. For more information on how and when your courier will deliver please contact us for information and/or visit the relevant courier website.




If we arrange a collection of goods from you, for whatever reason, you are required to package the goods adequately (ideally in the original protective wrapping or in the best alternative you can arrange) for transport by courier. We will not be responsible for any damage as a result of poor packaging.








The Price of the Goods shall be as advertised on our website.




We will confirm the Price of Goods ordered plus delivery charges at the time you place your order with us.




We reserve the right to change prices and specifications without notice.




Payment Terms




Online Customer Orders


Cushions/Soft furnishings from the online store can be paid using a debit/credit card/PayPal on the website, cheque via post or by bank transfer. Other soft furnishing orders can be paid by debit or credit card by bank transfer, paypal or cheque. An Order will not be processed unless we have received the funds in full.




Local Customers Cushion Orders


We require payment in full at the time of placing the Order.  Payment can be paid by bank transfer or cheque.




Local Customers Curtains, Roman Blinds, Furniture and Upholstery


We require a deposit to secure the Order and final payment to be paid once your goods are ready for delivery.  Deposit is normally at least 50% of total cost.  Payment can be paid by bank transfer or cheque.




Cancelling Orders and Refunds




All our products are customised to your specific measurements, cannot be resold and are not subject to the Distance Selling Regulations.  Therefore it is important that you are sure of your Order details before you place an Order with us.  You can cancel an Order for whatever reason and receive a full refund within 24 hours of placement.




If after 24 hours you wish to cancel your Order, if the fabric has already been cut, we are unable to offer a refund.




If, for some other reason, you receive the Goods and we agree a refund and then you fail to return the Goods to us, we shall be entitled to charge you for the costs of collecting the Goods from you. This amount can be deducted from any refund due to you.








Our products are customised according to specifications provided by you and therefore we cannot accept returns or refunds on the products for any aspect of the product which has been determined by you for example: incorrect measurements, fabric choices.




We will accept returns and consider replacements or full or partial refunds if there is a significant problem with the quality of manufacture or faults with the fabric.  You shall not be entitled to reject the Goods where the alleged defect or breach of contract is so slight that it would be unreasonable for you to do so.




Any claim by you which is based on any defect in the quality or condition of the Goods or their failure to correspond with the specification should be notified to us on discovery.  Any valid claim of this sort shall not be accepted by us unless made within 7 days from the date of delivery of the Goods.




Claims Under Guarantee




In the event of a claim under guarantee occurring, please contact Design and Conquer Interiors




We will endeavour to replace the defective Goods free of charge in a timely manner and only if a suitable replacement is not available will you be offered a refund.




We will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss of profits or other financial loss or damage arising out of defective, damaged or wrongly delivered goods, over and above the value of the goods themselves. This does not affect your statutory rights.




Our guarantees are limited to goods sold and retained in the United Kingdom, and used solely for private and domestic purposes.






In the event that a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a technical, administrative or other reason, we reserve the right to refuse your order whether or not the order has been charged to your credit or debit card. In this instance, we will issue a credit back to your card account.






The Contract shall be governed by the laws of England, and the Customer agrees to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

If you place an order with us we will require your name, billing and delivery address and contact details.


We are the sole data controller of any personal data you supply. Please be assured, we would NEVER pass on any of your personal information to a third party for direct marketing.

Your data is used to contact you regarding any aspect of an order. This includes quotations, invoices, confirmation of payments and updates.


If one of our products is being shipped to your address, your contact details will be supplied to the courier.
